TA positions for general physics labs are available for 2011-Fall semester. Please contact physics secretary Mrs. Christal Krein at 605-394-2361 for details.
My research interest is in astroparticle physics, with focus on dark matter search, muon and cosmogenic
backgrounds, and high-energy cosmic rays. I am currently working on the direct dark matter search
experiment Large Underground Xenon (LUX) experiment (to be deployed at 4850 ft level in Sanford Lab)
and involved in the Long-Baseline Neutrino Experiment (LBNE). I also have interests in the high-energy
neutrino astronomy project IceCube at the South Pole.
